Having a back up source of power is a must at times. This is especially true in the winter months and in locations where power outages are common. Solar generators are a great source of power and most are even portable. These are a great addition when going camping or if you have a little cabin retreat in the woods that isn’t equipped with electricity. The following list of benefits for solar powered generators should provide plenty of proof that these are the ultimate type of generator to have on hand.

Little Set-up Time- This type of generator is ready to go in a matter of minutes. It only takes a short amount of time for it to absorb enough energy from the sun to start running appliances off of this power. It can also run both AC and DC appliances.

Excellent Back-up Power- This type of generator is a perfect source for keeping the refrigerator cool when the power goes out during hot weather. Having this alternate power source available will prevent all the food from going bad.

Portable- These are often small enough to take on camping trips or put in the back of the car for a long road trip. Having one of these is helpful for saving your car battery from being drained, since many people use their cars to power various items while on vacation.

Cheaper than Gas- Not only does it cost less than a gas generator, but there also isn’t any noise or fumes to go along with it. It is extremely solid, durable, and the battery is maintenance free.

Permanent Power Source- This solar generator is able to store power for later use. Some can provide up to 1800 Watts of electricity. When recharged in the sun, this power is saved until the generator is used again.

Life-saving Power- When the electricity goes out, there’s no one that is spared this misfortune at times. Having a back-up source can be used to power aquariums, security systems, CPAP machines, oxygen tanks, and other medical equipment needed to keep people enjoying life. This can also be used to charge up cell phones that are low on battery, plus provide power for radios and televisions that may be giving out necessary weather information.

These above benefits are just a short list provided. There are many people who enjoy their solar generators and have found them to be capable of so much more. There’s no cost to run these and they are extremely low maintenance, making them an excellent source for additional power.

Earth 4 Energy - DIY DVD Series

Real Customer Testimonial Below:

My wife and I have been looking for good information on renewable energy solutions for some time now because of the recent price increase in traditional energy sources. After receiving your Earth4Enregy guide we made our own solar panel grid, and it is giving us more than enough energy to power our household appliances. Our next step is to build a wind powered system for those cloudy days. We have already noticed how much money we can save! Thanks again for giving us the know how to help make this a better world for our kids and grand kids.

Home Made Energy - DIY

Real Customer Testimonial Below:

After reading your book I haveve decided to go with the solar system. Although it is very rainy in UK, there is enough Sun to power it up. In UK the price of electricity is probably bigger than in US. So I do not know if you realize how great this is for our money savings. By the way, you have put a lot of work in the HomeMadeEnergy guide and it shows. I want to congratulate you for doing this. I really do not think you will go wrong with Home Made Energy!

Energy 2 Green - DIY Training

Real Customer Testimonial Below:

When work cut my hours, I honestly did not know how I was going to make ends meet. When I first heard about your book from a friend at work, I did not think it was for me. I cant start the lawnmower half the time so I did not think I could possibly build a solar panel or windmill, but I had to cut cost somehow or risk me and my 2 small children becoming homeless. Not only did it help us save $100 each month, the electric company is now sending us a check each month!

I highly recommend Energy 2 Green to ANYONE!
