Chargers Solar- How To Get Your Solar
By: Ryan Narendra
Twenty years ago, solar technology began to show its face in the industrial world, but it wasn’t until recently that many people have really started embracing the wonderful things it can do, especially in a domestic capacity. The escalating world energy crisis might be the culprit for this new interest as people are scrambling to find more cost effective methods for maintaining their ways of life. There is also a widespread green movement that is inspiring many to find eco-friendly solutions for many of their personal domestic needs. Chargers solar are making a huge leap forward because of these interests, and you can use this technology in your own home with just a few items that are very easy to get, and a couple of hours putting it all together.
Get a solar panel from an RV or marine supply store, or online. A quality 16 volt panel will cost you merely $100, which is one of the bests you could ever make.
Next, acquire a battery from an equipment or hardware store, or online too. A decent 12 volt, rechargeable lead/acid or gel battery can tack on another 60 to your project.
You will also need a volt meter, which you might already have in your tool box or garage. However, you probably don’t have a DC input, which will allow you to plug a compatible unit directly into the battery. The solar panels will gather energy from the sun and store it in the battery, which you can then use however you would like. You could also install an AC conversion unit, which will let you plug most small electrical equipment directly into your power source! Altogether this will cost you another $40-$50.
Finally, you should build a box or housing unit for your chargers solar, which will protect the wires and electrical components, and the hardware too.
