A Quick Introduction To Alternative Generator Energy

In today’s conservationist world, you may be trying to find new, cost-effective, and environmental ways to create and use energy. This not only reduces your dependency on expensive, pollutant fossil fuels, but it can save you money by allowing you to regulate how you use the energy you create. Fortunately there are many kinds of technology, some of which that have been around for many decades that can provide natural generator energy. This means that you have a variety of energy sources that you can choose from or combine in order to help make your home ecological and energy efficient.

Wind turbines are somewhat ancient in terms of alternative energy, but they are still as effective as ever. Typically, this type of power requires large machines that catch the wind which turn the turbines that control the motor. This motor can be used as part of a machine that powers any number of electrical devices. You can also store the energy for use later.

Similarly, hydroelectric power uses the flow of water through a controlled chamber to capture the inherent energy of its movement. Large dams not only stop the tremendous flow of water through major channels, but they harness the power they have which can also be used immediately or stored for later.

Recently, solar technology has helped people to harness the power of sunlight, which is the most efficient and renewable source of energy available on the planet. Through the installation of solar panels on the roof of your car, home, or building, you can significantly reduce your dependency on traditional energy sources like petroleum and electricity.

Whether you are trying to cut down on your need for automobile gasoline or just the emissions from petroleum-based fuels, or to improve energy consumption in your home or office, there are many kinds of generator energy options for you.

After reading your book I haveve decided to go with the solar system. Although it is very rainy in UK, there is enough Sun to power it up. In UK the price of electricity is probably bigger than in US. So I do not know if you realize how great this is for our money savings. By the way, you have put a lot of work in the HomeMadeEnergy guide and it shows. I want to congratulate you for doing this. I really do not think you will go wrong with Home Made Energy!

When work cut my hours, I honestly did not know how I was going to make ends meet. When I first heard about your book from a friend at work, I did not think it was for me. I cant start the lawnmower half the time so I did not think I could possibly build a solar panel or windmill, but I had to cut cost somehow or risk me and my 2 small children becoming homeless. Not only did it help us save $100 each month, the electric company is now sending us a check each month!

I highly recommend Energy 2 Green to ANYONE!

Cheap Pump Solar- Power Panels

By: Ryan Narendra

Solar technology has been in constant and thorough development for the better part of twenty years. However it wasn’t until recently that people have really begun to embrace these developments in a major domestic capacity. Perhaps the new energy crisis has lead people to investigate alternative fuels to conserve energy and save money. There is also a somewhat massive green movement sweeping America that is inspiring many people to make a better effort to choose eco-friendly solutions to their many needs. Pump solar energy conversion is one of these convenient, innovative ideas that you can do in your own home.

First of all, you will need a small, quality solar panel, which you can usually get for around $100. Check with a local RV or marine supply shop or even a specialty battery retailer for a few different kinds. Of course, you can always venture online for more convenient options as well as more variety and even better prices.

Actually, you might want to start at the battery store because it might be a good idea to pick up a battery as well. While you will use your solar energy to directly power your pump, you can also divert some of what you gathered to store in your battery. Battery prices start around 60 for a 12v lead/acid one.

It is also a good idea to build a box that holds your battery and pump, and where you can easily install a stable stand for your solar panel. The box will also house the wiring and the volt meter, DC input, and optional AC converter, which will allow you to plug in nearly every kind electrical device you can imagine, including your pump. All this can run you another 50 or so, depending on your wattage needs.

Connect the pieces of your pump solar and you have renewable energy for a very small investment.

Purchasing A Multiple Watt Panel Solar Kit

100 watt solar panel

By: Ryan Narendra

If you live in an area where there is a lot of sun to be used for energy, then it might be a wise decision to look into purchasing a multiple watt panel solar kit. These come in wattages ranging from the lower double digit numbers to the upper triple digit numbers. It’s easy to use these solar panels to run a variety of items; from lights to appliances. Deciding to simply buy a set of solar panels is another option, but this is usually quite pricey.

There are kits that can be purchased for building solar panels that will easily charge two AA batteries and there are much larger kits that supply all the needed materials for building huge solar panels. These larger panels are for running lights and appliances in homes that aren’t anywhere near the power supply for towns. Kits such as these are ideal for remote locations that people chose because of that factor; that they are remote. The only way to keep the truly secluded is to stay off the grid.

Many sites online provide extremely thorough instructions on how to build solar panels that are able to handle a variety of wattages. These instructions give all the needed supplies that must be purchased, some even provide a price range for said supplies, and many offer pictures of the individual steps as well. Having a visual aid for each step provides clarity on what the finished product is supposed to look like.

Kits are also available to create portable solar panel models. These are perfect for traveling and when there is a need to charge up batteries, which is what many of the portable models are designed to do. When figuring out just how much wattage you will need for your solar panels to produce, you will first need to determine how much wattage you will use. For instance, the following appliances are listed with how much wattage each uses per hour:

Lights Approximately 75 WattsStereo Approximately 120 WattsCoffee Maker Approximately 240 WattsMicrowave Oven Approximately 800 WattsTV w/Satellite Dish Approximately 350 Watts

With this in mind, you will need to make sure that you are producing enough solar energy with the panels you’ve assembled, otherwise the system will shut down. It’s a good idea to create a table with your appliances listed next to the amount of Watts they require, similar to the list above. Figure out how many hours a day you will be using each appliance and then add up your total Wattage. This is how you will figure out which multiple watt panel solar kit to purchase for your project.
